Liberal National Party (LNP) leader Campbell Newman has repeated his pledge to repeal legislation allowing Queensland same-sex couples to enter civil unions.
Monday is the earliest date gay and lesbian couples can have their partnerships legally recognised in Queensland after the laws were passed last year.
The LNP voted against the laws, and Mr Newman says if the party wins government on March 24, it will seek legal advice on repealing them.
